My Legacy

by Karen King

When my time is come and my life is o'er,
When I've goneto stand on that crystal shore;
What will I leave behind me here
With friends and loved ones I hold so dear?
Will they remember my love for the Lord,
Or will they remember some unkind word?
Something I said at a trying time,
When I was failing my light to shine,
Have you seen Jesus as I've run my race?
Have you seen His love in the smile on my face?
Have I made much of a difference here?
Have I lifted you up, have I shared in your tears?
Will you remember the times we've shared,
The laughter, the heartaches, the sorrow, the prayers?
When my time is come, and Jesus I see;
Tell my my friend will you remember me?

Strength To Go On
by Karen King

The strength of God goes on and on
Through things we cannot see.
He knows the path He's set for us
And knows our every need.
At times we often feel alone
And wonder where God could be.
But He says, "I have given you Life,
And you belong to Me.
Although the way is often rough.
Sometimes the path is steep.
I'll not leave you to go through
These trials without Me.
So when this liffe is pressing hard
Just come on bended knee,
And I will give you strength to go
Through things you cannot see."

(Karen King was a friend of mine who went home to be with the Lord earlier this year)
